The MOVE nutrition course is designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary to understand the importance of good nutrition in maintaining a healthy lifestyle. The course covers the basic principles of nutrition, including macronutrients (carbohydrates, proteins, and fats), micronutrients (vitamins and minerals), and their roles in the body. The course also covers the different types of diets, such as paleo, IF (intermittent fasting), vegetarian and vegan diets, and the benefits and challenges associated with each. Additionally, students are introduced to nutrition-related health issues, such as obesity, diabetes, and heart disease, and strategies for preventing and managing these conditions through diet. In later modules, we cover nutrient timing, reverse diet phases, specific for different athletes (endurance vs. strength) and more.
